Roberts for Senate Posts Another Half Million Dollar Quarter

Strong Grassroots Support Buoyed by Strong Financial Support

Topeka, KS – The Pat Roberts for Senate campaign today announced it has raised more than $500,000 in the third quarter, bringing in more than $1 million in just the last six months.

The campaign’s latest Federal Election Commission report shows $537,584 raised between July 1 to September 30, 2013.

Roberts for Senate ends the quarter with $1,836,312 cash-on-hand.

“Pat has backed his strong grassroots support, including endorsements from every corner of the state, with the very strong fundraising support that is needed to finance a winning campaign,” said Dave Murfin, Statewide Campaign Co-Chair of Roberts for Senate and a Wichita business leader.

“Kansans know that Pat is the tough, tested and trusted conservative in this race,” Murfin added. “It’s his voice that will make a difference in the fight to end Obamacare, to lower taxes, to cut government spending and to reduce regulation. We are hard at work to return Pat to the Senate on behalf of Kansas.”

Roberts is the 5th most conservative senator as rated by Heritage Action and has received an overwhelming number of key endorsements including: 31 of 32 GOP Kansas state Senators,  the Kansas State Rifle Association and Roger Ewing who is leader and founder of The Big First Tea Party, which represents the First Congressional District in Kansas.
