Roberts Wins Debate

Roberts Defeats Obama’s Kansas Candidate in Second Debate

TOPEKA, Kan. – Senator Roberts delivered another commanding performance at the Johnson County Public Policy Council forum this afternoon, soundly defeating Harry Reid and Barack Obama’s hand-picked candidate, Greg Orman, in the second debate between the two candidates. Roberts for Senate Campaign Manager Corry Bliss released the following statement after the debate:

“President Obama has made it clear that his policies are on the ballot this election, and we saw again today that Greg Orman is Obama’s candidate in Kansas. Orman is against repealing Obamacare, he's pro-amnesty, pro-abortion and he's against the Second Amendment.

“A vote for Greg Orman is a vote to hand over the future of Kansas and America to Barack Obama and Harry Reid. Greg Orman is in lock step with Barack Obama and Harry Reid on all of the most important issues to Kansas voters. Mr. Orman can’t stand on his record or even take several policy positions, and that is why Senator Roberts won today’s debate and why he will win in November.”
