Second Quarter FEC Report shows Cash On Hand of $2.25 million

Topeka—The re-election campaign of U.S. Sen. Pat Roberts continued to gain impressive momentum in the first three months of 2014 with more than a half million dollars in contributions.  Combined with the previous quarter, the campaign has raised more than $1 million in just six months.

Roberts for Senate reported cash on hand going into the final months of the primary campaign of $2,246,723.

Most impressive, the campaign now has 3,739 individual contributions from Kansas and 7,181 individual contributions nationwide.

“I am grateful for this strong outpouring of financial support for my campaign,” Senator Roberts said, “because it shows Kansans recognize my efforts in behalf of our state and agree with my conservative record of working to repeal and replace Obamacare and restore a constitutional government in Washington, DC.”

With contributions from all 105 Kansas counties and endorsements from officials, and from business and conservative groups, Senator Roberts is recognized as the tough, tested and trusted conservative in the Kansas primary race.
