Roberts for Senate Releases New TV Ad “Marine"
Senator’s conservative record highlighted; he’s a lifelong Kansan working hard for Kansas
Topeka—The Roberts for Senate campaign Wednesday released its new TV ad, “Marine,” highlighting Senator Pat Roberts’ tireless work fighting for Kansas and the country both in Congress and as a Marine.
The 30-second spot will air statewide on broadcast television and on cable in the Kansas City area. The ad features Derek Brunin, a fellow U.S. Marine and a fellow Kansan.
“When Kansans want someone fighting on our side, we want a Marine. We want Senator Pat Roberts,” Brunin says in the ad. “Pat’s a lifelong Kansan. One of the most conservative Senators in the country. Pat’s sworn an oath to uphold the Constitution. That’s why Pat’s fought so hard against Obamacare, taxes, and spending.”
Senator Pat Roberts is a tough, tested, and trusted conservative who has taken his common sense, conservative values forged in Kansas and in the Marine Corps to Congress and delivered results. He has been endorsed by the American Conservative Union, National Right to Life, the US Chamber of Commerce, Senator Bob Dole, Speaker Newt Gingrich, the Kansas State Rifle Association, Kansans for Life, the Kansas Farm Bureau, 31 state senators, 79 state representatives, every statewide official on ballot in 2014, and many others.
Pretenders talk about their conservative credentials. Pat Roberts is a Marine. He acts. He delivers for Kansas. He takes the hill.
